approved, full-face modular (flip up) helmet is constructed of
ultra-light thermoplastic material and is aerodynamically shaped for
ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise,
lessening the stress on the rider's neck muscles after a long ride. The
easy-lift chin guard opening system makes 'flipping up' the face cover a
cinch. In the down position, the face cover lock mechanism exceeds
expectations for safety by utilizing metal pins and hooks, making it
extremely resistant to opening in the event of an accident. Additional
features such as the flow thru ventilation system with chin and forehead
exhaust ventilation help keep you cool and comfortable, while features
such as the anti-scratch, quick release visor helps keep your
perspective clear. This unit even comes with a retractable sun visor.
The comfortable inner lining and the cheek pads are fully removable and
washable. The V210 comes a combination of 4 designs and colors in a

has some flaws but for the price.....

The helmet is decent for the price. The flip up part is a little on the weak side, you can wiggle the chin after it has "latched". There is a high pitched whistle while riding, and the air gets through. I would not recommend this helmet for winter riding. The aerodynamics of the helmet work good when riding but when there is a cross wind, the fin on the back forces your head to turn. On the other hand the vents work well and the feel of the helmet is good. The built in sun screen works great and is a life saver on some trips, it covers your entire field of vision like tight fitting sun glasses. I give this helmet 4 stars due mainly to the price. I would recommend this helmet to someone that is looking at a modular but can't afford the best. As for me this helmet had the 2 things I was looking for, but for my next helmet I think I will stay away from modulars. One other thing is that the strap is very long so don't forget to snap it down before you ride. I wear a size 7 1/4" hat (23" dia) and the meduim size fits perfect, and will still be good after the foam compresses.

Very cool looking helmet...order larger though

I ordered a medium and followed the size chart only to have wished i'd ordered a large. I was quickly refunded and it didn't cost me penny to ship it back. the art work is very neat and i love the cross on the back. the design really is not overkill and the modular is firm and nicely built. overall a very nice helmet Too see the price By. Amazon.com
